I created a free account in aws and trying to claim phone number in amazon connect but getting below error:
We couldn't claim your phone number
Please try again. If you need help, contact AWS Support.
I can see 5 numbers in the list and if i change the option then error is different "You have reached maximum limit..."
I can't raise a support ticket as it is free account and don't want to switch to paid version only for this error.
Till now i have tried below scenarios:
- Deleted instance multiple times and created new but didn't work.
- Select region as N virginia
- Check the quota for phone number per instance (default is 5).
I am still stuck and looking help from experts.
This comes up very often and has happened to us a few times with new instances. Why can't AWS ensure that the default of 5 phone numbers is actually true?
