I want to activate AWS Enterprise Support for an AWS member account in AWS Organizations.
Resolution
Submit an Enterprise Support enrollment request
If your organization has an active Enterprise Support agreement and you configured auto-enrollment, then new member accounts are automatically enrolled. If a recently added member account doesn't display Enterprise Support, then submit a support case from your organization's management account to request enrollment.
Complete the following steps:
- Sign in to the management account that has an active Enterprise Support agreement.
- Open the AWS Support Center console.
- Choose Create case.
- For Case type, choose Account and billing.
- For Service, choose Account.
- For Category, choose Other Account Issues.
- Choose Next step: Additional information.
- On the Additional information page, for Subject, enter a title for your issue.
- For Description, specify the IDs for each member account that you want to enroll into Enterprise Support.
- Choose Next step: Solve now or contact us.
- On the Contact us page, select your preferred method of contact.
- Choose Submit.
Note: To upgrade your organization to Enterprise Support for the first time, choose Contact sales on the Manage Support Plan page.
Verify that Enterprise Support is active on your member account
After you receive confirmation that Enterprise Support is active, confirm that your member account plan displays as Enterprise Support.
Complete the following steps:
- Sign in to the member account.
- Open the AWS Support Plans page.
- Confirm that the plan displays as Enterprise Support.
Important: You incur charges when you activate Enterprise Support. To review the pricing structure for Enterprise Support, see the AWS Support pricing page. AWS calculates Enterprise Support fees based on the aggregate monthly charges for all subscribed accounts in your organization. A minimum one-month subscription is required for paid Support plans.
