How do I associate an Elastic IP address with a WorkSpace?

Resolution

Complete the following steps:

1. Open the Amazon WorkSpaces console.
2. Select the WorkSpace, and then choose the Hide or Show details arrow to expand the WorkSpace details. Note the WorkSpace IP address.
3. Open the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) console, and then choose Network Interfaces in the navigation pane.
4. In the search bar, enter the WorkSpace IP address. Note the Network interface ID for the search result.
5. In the Amazon EC2 console navigation pane, choose Elastic IPs.
   Note: If you don't have an Elastic IP address or yours is already associated with an instance or network interface, then allocate a new IP address.
6. Select the Elastic IP address that you want to associate with the WorkSpace, and then choose Actions, Associate Elastic IP address.
7. For Resource type, choose Network interface.
8. For Network interface, enter the Network interface ID.
9. Choose Associate.
10. To confirm that the Elastic IP address is associated with the WorkSpace, choose Network Interfaces in the Amazon EC2 console navigation pane.

An IP address now appears for IPv4 Public IP.
