Can I extend AWS Free Tier benefits past 12 months?

I have an AWS account with AWS Free Tier benefits. However, I didn't use the benefits in the initial 12 months after I activated the account and want to extend the benefits.

Resolution

You can't extend AWS Free Tier benefits on your account past the initial 12 months. After the AWS Free Tier period expires, all resources on your account are billed at the standard, pay-as-you-go service rates.

Instead, you can use services with an Always Free or Trial tier type.
