Why can't I control model access for Amazon Bedrock third-party models by AWS Region?
I want to use the aws:RequestedRegion condition key to control AWS Marketplace actions for my model access for Amazon Bedrock third-party models in my AWS Region.
Resolution
When you use the aws:RequestedRegion condition key with AWS Marketplace actions, the key can't control your model access for Amazon Bedrock third-party models by your Region. AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) evaluates AWS Marketplace actions as if you performed the actions in the us-east-1 Region.
To control your model access for Amazon Bedrock third-party models, use the aws:RequestedRegion condition key with the following Amazon Bedrock actions:
- PutFoundationModelEntitlement
- DeleteFoundationModelAgreement
- Tags
- Amazon Bedrock
- Language
- English
