I need to activate Enterprise Support for a new member account in my AWS organization. However, the member account doesn't automatically inherit the plan from the management account.
Short description
When you have Enterprise Support for your AWS organization's management account, member accounts don't automatically inherit this support plan. To activate Enterprise Support for a specific member account, you must change the support plan for that account manually.
Resolution
Activate Enterprise Support directly

Access the specific member account that you want to activate Enterprise Support for.

Navigate to Manage Support Plan in the AWS Support Center.

Select the Enterprise Support plan option, and then follow the prompts to activate the support plan.

If you encounter any issues, then open a case with AWS Support.
After you activate Enterprise Support
Verify that the Enterprise Support plan is active for your member account. To do this, check your support plan details in the AWS Support Center.
Important: Enterprise Support activation might affect your billing. Make sure to review any changes to your costs associated with this upgrade.
