I want to know where I can get help with my AWS services, account, or bill.

Resolution

Use the following resources to get help with your AWS services, account, or bill.

AWS re:Post

Use AWS re:Post to find content that's related to your question. If you don't see what you're searching for, then ask a question to see if other AWS users can help. AWS engineers monitor questions and provide help on a best-effort basis.

Also, make sure to browse all Knowledge Center content for answers to the most frequently asked questions from AWS customers.

AWS Documentation

Check AWS Documentation for the service that you're using. For some AWS services, AWS Documentation includes troubleshooting guides and tutorials for common use cases.

AWS Prescriptive Guidance

Search AWS Prescriptive Guidance for resources on how to migrate to AWS and optimize or modernize your cloud operations.

AWS Support

All AWS customers can contact AWS Support about account and billing queries and service quota increases.

For an account or billing-related question, complete the following steps:

  1. Sign in to your AWS account.
  2. Open the AWS Support Center.
  3. Choose Create case.
  4. Select Account and billing support.
  5. Enter the required information in the Case details section.
  6. Select your preference for Contact options.
Note: The options for contact depend on the type of case and your Support plan.
  7. Choose Submit.

The following are examples of account and billing related questions:

  • Can you reopen my closed account?
  • Are the services on my account active?
  • Can you help me understand the line items on my AWS bill?

To request service quota increases, choose Service limit increase in the Create case section, and then enter the required information.

If you need one-on-one technical support, then upgrade your Support plan. For more information, see How do I change my AWS Support plan?

If you signed up for a Developer, Business, or Enterprise Support plan, then you can open a technical support case.
