I am an AWS customer, and I want technical support.
Resolution
For technical support, all AWS customers have access to AWS Documentation, AWS Prescriptive Guidance, and AWS re:Post. Also, all AWS customers receive support for account and billing questions and service quota increases.
To get personalized technical support for your operational issues or technical questions, you must sign up for a Developer, Business, Enterprise On-Ramp, or Enterprise Support plan. With these Support plans, you get pay-by-the-month pricing and unlimited support cases.
To open a support case after you sign up for one of the Support plans, complete the following steps:
- Open the AWS Support Center.
- Choose Create case.
- On the Create case page, choose Technical support.
- Choose the service, category, and severity for your case, and then choose Next step: Additional information.
- Enter a subject and description for your case.
- Enter the information that's requested in the recommended fields, or select Opt-out from providing recommended fields.
- Choose Next step: Solve now or contact us.
- Choose Solve now to view a list of recommended articles that might resolve your issue.
- If the articles don't resolve your issue, then choose Next.
- Choose Contact us, and then choose how you want AWS Support to contact you.
- Enter any additional information that's necessary, and then choose Submit.
If you have a Basic Support plan and require one-on-one technical support, then you must upgrade your Support plan.
