How do I recreate a default subnet for my default Amazon VPC?
I deleted the default subnet for my default Amazon Virtual Private Cloud (Amazon VPC). I want to recreate a default subnet for my default Amazon VPC.
Resolution
You can create a default subnet in any Availability Zone that doesn't currently have a default subnet. For more information, see Create a default subnet.
Note: You can only create default subnets in a default Amazon VPC. If you deleted your default Amazon VPC, then create a default VPC that contains a default subnet in each Availability Zone in the Region.
