How many resources can Shield Advanced protect?

Shield Advanced protections are turned on only for resources that you explicitly specified in Shield Advanced. You can also protect resources through an AWS Firewall Manager Shield Advanced policy.

By default, the maximum number of protected resources for each resource type that Shield Advanced can protect is 1000 per account. To request a quota increase, see Shield Advanced quotas.
