Resolution

Create the Amazon SNS topic

Use the Amazon SNS console to create an Amazon SNS notification topic and grant permissions to send a notification to your topic.

Note: Your Amazon SNS topic must be in the same AWS account as the budgets that you created.

Note: If you receive an error message when you create your SNS topic for budget notifications, then see Troubleshooting.

Accept the subscription

To accept the subscription to the Amazon SNS topic, use the Amazon SNS console to check your notification status or resend the confirmation email. Then, choose the Confirm subscription link to activate the notification.
