My mailing address changed, and I want to update my address information in my AWS account.

Resolution

You can use an AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) user to update the AWS account mailing address if the following conditions apply:

You must sign in as the account root user to change the root user's mailing address.

Important: Check whether your account and Amazon.com retail account share the same email address and password. If they do, then you change mailing address information for both accounts if you update one of the accounts.

To update your mailing address information, complete the following steps:

  1. Log in to the AWS Billing and Cost Management console for the account that you want to update.
  2. If you're already logged in to the console and don't see your account information: select your account ID at the upper-right corner of the screen, and then select Account from the dropdown list.
  3. Next to Contact Information, choose Edit.
  4. Update your contact information associated with your account, including your mailing address, phone number, and website address.
  5. Choose Update.

The address in PDF invoices from the AWS Billing Dashboard is related to your payment method. To update the billing address, see How do I change billing information on the PDF version of the AWS invoice that I receive by email?
