What is the AWS Free Tier and how do I use it?
I want to use the AWS products that are available in the AWS Free Tier to test AWS resources. I want to know how the AWS Free Tier works.
Resolution
When you activate a new AWS account, you have access to the AWS Free Tier. You can use AWS products free of charge up to a specific maximum amount of usage each month.
Important: Not all AWS products are free. Some products in the AWS Free Tier have usage quotas. If you exceed the usage quotas, then you're charged at standard rates.
Check the AWS Free Tier offerings to make sure that the services you're using are within the applicable usage quotas. To learn more about what AWS Free Tier offers, see Get started with the AWS Free Tier.
Not all free usage is part of the AWS Free Tier. Some products offer free trials, and other products offer some level of service for free outside of the AWS Free Tier.
Check a product's pricing documentation to determine whether the product has a free trial option.
