Announcing the new Applications widget on AWS Console Home

We are excited to announce the launch of the new Applications widget on Console Home, providing one-click access to applications in AWS Systems Manager Application Manager and their associated collections of AWS resources, code, and related data.

Using the new Applications widget, you can quickly access, visualize, and operate application resources in AWS Systems Manager Application Manager. Start by searching the list in the Applications widget and click any name to open Application Manager. From Application Manager, you can view the resources that power your application, as well as application cost using AWS Cost Explorer, CloudWatch alarms, AWS Config rule compliance, and Systems Manager OpsItems. AWS Systems Manager Automation runbooks are also available to take action on your application’s resources.

You can access the Applications widget on Console Home by signing into AWS Management Console. This widget is available in all public AWS Regions.
