How to install SageMath and LinBox C++ library on Amazon EC2 server

Question

I would like to install SageMath on my AWS EC2 server, however when I type sudo yum install sagemath, I get the error that sagemath is not available, which was to be expected. How can I get around this?  
  
Sage: http://www.sagemath.org/index.html  
  
Also I'd like to install the C++ library called LinBox, which has dependencies on other C++ libraries: Givaro, FFLAS-FFPACK, and BLAS. So how would I install these?

P.S. I am quite new to cloud computing so please try to be as explicit as possible so that I may understand! Thank you!

These instructions are for EC2 running Ubuntu 18.04 with 20 GB EBS storage  
How to install sage:

```
sudo su
apt install python
cd /opt
wget http://mirrors.mit.edu/sage/linux/64bit/sage-8.8-Ubuntu_18.04-x86_64.tar.bz2
tar -xjf *.tar.bz2
ln -s /opt/SageMath/sage /usr/local/bin/sage
sage
```

How to install LinBox C++

```
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install liblinboxsage-dev
```

I am using Ubuntu server, so the commands will be sudo apt-get instead of yum
