Direct Admin cPanel on EC2

Hello,

I understand that you have installed Directadmin control panel on your ubuntu EC2 instance and facing issues with IP.

I would like to inform you that DirectAdmin is a third-party application, it's installation and configuration falls out of scope for AWS Premium Support[1]. However, I can assist you on best effort basis.

I have done some research and able to find a couple of guides on official directadmin website, attached in here [2] and [3], which involve the instructions on configuring DirectAdmin using “IP manager”. Please check for Link the LAN IP to your public IP using the Linked IP feature. If you want to proceed with these guides, I will strongly recommend you to take backups/snapshots of your instances prior proceeding with it. I have also attached guide in regards to creating EBS snapshots [4] and creating a Linux AMI from an instance [5] for your reference.

I tried my best to install Directadmin in test environment, but as I don’t possess a DirectAdmin License, I was not able to replicate issue and test all the mentioned steps.

An important point to note is that as mentioned earlier, DirectAdmin is a third-party application and it is not managed by AWS. AWS engineers do not have discrete expertise in all applications or third party resources. Hence, the respective system admins at your end or Directadmin support team generally are more intimately familiar with the setup here. I have however tried to provide the above insight with the best of my knowledge and available insight regarding the product here to point you in the right direction.
