CDK build container image only on dockerfile change.

As part of my CDK Python template, I am building a container, and it is uploaded to my ECR with the latest tag. However, the Dockerfile (that lives in GitHub) is rarely changed, but container is still rebuilt every time I deploy my CDK.

Is there a way to update the template to only build the container if Dockerfile is updated, as it will save time during the deployment?
