For DNS validation did you add a CNAME record?
For email validation, did you check for mail on one of the email addresses from your domain's WHOIS entry? e.g.
- administrator@your_domain_name
- hostmaster@your_domain_name
- postmaster@your_domain_name
- webmaster@your_domain_name
- admin@your_domain_name
If you choose email validation, the console will show you the ID's the email was sent to. If the list is fine, check the Junk/Spam folder in those. I recently noticed that Gmail flagged the emails as spam.
