Amazon Connect Chat Widget - End Chat Button Issues

In Amazon Connect Widget client - End Chat Button, when pressed goes into forever spinning, if the CONTACT has already ended (works fine otherwise). This happens more on mobile as the connection is not always on. Is this a bug, has anyone else noticed it?

BTW, The placement of End Chat button on mobile tends to be pressed by mistake as we select the Text Input to enter. I wish it is not so prominently placed.
