Certificate Manager does not create ssl certificates for .ru domains

Dear AWS, i've tried to issue ssl certificates for some .ru domains that I've migrated to route53, however the process always fails with "Additional verification required to request certificates for one or more domain names in this request." error. For .org domain ssl certificate was issued without any problem. Have you stopped supported .ru domains?

And the domains are not in Alexa Top 1000 list, of course

The same problem. It seems that russian domains are following russian warship. The only workaround is to upload our own certificates.
