blue/green deployment technique with aurora and replication failure

Question

I was testing the blue/green deployment technique, which works fine with idle clusters but fails replication with some DDL when the deployment is running.
For example, while the Green cluster deployment was in progress, I created the databases, and the replication in the green primary failed.

Answer

Testing with create table also failed the replication:
