I am seeing following error on running query multiple times in Athena

`Amazon Athena experienced an internal error while executing this query. Please try submitting the query again and if the issue reoccurs, contact AWS support for further assistance. We apologize for the inconvenience.
This query ran against the "slurpy_files_cdc" database, unless qualified by the query.`

Answer

It may be a performance error as described in this document.  
There are some countermeasures that could be taken, such as waiting a while before executing them.

Am I correct in recognizing that errors occur from time to time?  
In that case, the description in the above document is most likely correct.

Hi, I have a query that runs about 4-6 times a day, and once every while in a regular manner (every 2 days?) I get this error. 
Any idea how I can improve the robustness of the query or debug the situation?
