Lightsail is down

Hi, i create a new instance of Lightsail and i run my project on it. After 10 minutes is not reachable by IP and also by ssh. I receive a timeout error. What can be? CPU usage is under 20%

Hello.
Since it is a timeout error, a possible cause is that SSH is not allowed in Lightsail's firewall or is prevented by the OS firewall.
Is SSH allowed on the Lightsail firewall?

Another possible cause is that the SSH process on Lightsail has stopped for some reason.
In that case, running the following script in the startup script when restoring from a Lightsail snapshot may fix the problem.

sudo ufw disable
sudo iptables -F
sudo mv /etc/hosts.deny /etc/hosts.deny_backup
sudo touch /etc/hosts.deny

Ensure that your Lightsail instance has the appropriate firewall rules configured to allow incoming SSH (port 22) and any other necessary traffic. Access the Lightsail console and check the system logs for any error messages or issues that might be causing the instance to become unresponsive. Look for any messages related to resource exhaustion or other system problems. Even though the CPU usage is under 20%, check the memory (RAM) usage and disk I/O as well. High memory or disk I/O usage could lead to unresponsiveness. Monitor the server's resources using tools like htop or top if you have access.
