DB instance in AWS LightSail shows "unknown"

My DB instance in AWS LightSail has gone into "unknown" state out of the blue. If I try choose the DB and click on manage, it says there is some issue with LightSail & you amazon is fixing it. But it has been showing the same thing for the last 4-5 hours. I cant even delete the instance.

Please reach out to customer support and ask them to pass your case to the Lightsail team, we'll help you unblock the database instance.

  • Hi, I did but they are asking me to create a snapshot. It is not possible for me create because when I click manage, it gives me an error. I am not able to do anything since the state is "unknown"

  • I am facing the same problem here. I Can not reach the DB can not Delete it or reboot. I raised a support case by No: 10603232891 still pending. Can you please Unblock the DB Instance. Thanks
