This site can’t be reached after changing Name Servers

0

Hello,

I have a registered domain via Amazon Route 53 but I am hosting it somewhere else, on a shared hosting. I have changed Name Servers and on Whois-LookUp I can see that the End-Point for them has been successfully changed.
Now, the issue is when I try to access my website, it says the following:

"This site can’t be reached
The webpage at LINK might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
ERR_NAME_RESOLUTION_FAILED"

Also, I have deleted the Host Zone for that particular domain, which was created by default.

Hi,

DNS resolvers typically cache the names of name servers for two days. DNS resolvers that have sent a query to Route 53 in the last couple of days for your website (say, www.mishovski.com) still are using the Route 53 name servers instead of the name servers for your new DNS service.

Unfortunately, because you deleted the Route 53 hosted zone, resolvers can't get the information from Route 53. Extra unfortunately, there's no way to create another Route 53 hosted zone that has the same set of four Route 53 name servers, so you can't reproduce your hosted zone in the interim.

You'll need to wait for the two-day cache duration (commonly known as "TTL" or "time to live") to expire. At that point, DNS resolvers will start sending queries to the new DNS service.

For an overview of how this works, see "How Amazon Route 53 Routes Traffic for Your Domain" in the Route 53 Developer Guide:
