I need to allocate a specific IP address to an EC2 instance in AWS. Is it possible to choose the IP address myself, instead of having AWS assign one automatically?
If this is possible, what are the steps involved in allocating a specific IP address to an instance? Are there any prerequisites or requirements that I should be aware of before attempting to allocate a specific IP address?
I also want to ensure that the IP address remains associated with the instance even if it is stopped or restarted. What are the best practices for ensuring that the IP address remains static and does not change?

Thank you for the information on the AWS BYOIP program. I am interested in bringing my own IP address to EC2, but I am not comfortable executing commands in the terminal.
Is it possible to bring your own IP address using the AWS Management Console or UI? If so, could you please provide me with more information on how to do this?
