volume transfer between accounts

Hello, The account I a working on is due to close soon. I will be using another account after that. How can I transfer the volume with all its contend (~6TB) which I am working with from the instance on closing account to new instance on different account? Please advise. Thank you Alexey

Hi,

You just have to do cross-account copy of your data across S3 buckets in each account.

This is the way to configure it: https://repost.aws/knowledge-center/copy-s3-objects-account

This way you avoid going through any machine outside of AWS cloud and you fully benefit from the AWS high-speed network.
