The file should reside in: "/opt/bitnami/wordpress/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association". Is that what you are trying?

Hello.
Since you are getting a "404 not found" error, is it possible that the file was not placed in the correct directory?
I think it should be placed in the web server's document root.
I can't say for sure without looking at the web server's configuration file, but I think that with bitnami WordPress, "/opt/bitnami/wordpress" is the storage location for static files.

Correct, this is where the file is located but I am unable to access it
Filepath: /opt/bitnami/wordpress

Yes I do place the file on "/opt/bitnami/wordpress/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association" but then when I go to domain.com/.well-known/apple-developer-merchantid-domain-association it says 404 not found.
