This sounds like a bug in the DynamoDB Dashboard UI. Can you please use the "Feedback" button located on the bottom of the page, this will cut a ticket to the team which maintain the Dashboard.

I'm getting similar problem. I have:
- DynamoDB APIs working fine, allowing me to create/update/remove entries;
- DynamoDB DescribeTable API is also working fine;
Although I can't visualize my DDB table via UI.
