Mail configuration

While updating MX records why is AWS taking the domain name?

I have mail purchased from Godaddy and updating MX records in AWS... But in the record name, GoDaddy has provided only @, and in AWS it is updating @ with the domain name.

Godaddy customer says we are not receiving the mails because of this
