Appflow custom connector to connect to AWS Lambda Function

Question

Hi,

Can we create custom connector in Appflow to interact with the lambda function(destination), keeping Salesforce as source? I couldn't find any resource to create custom connector to interact with AWS Lambda Function.

Here's my usecase:
I want to poll the data from salesforce db and process the data using lambda function. I want to use Appflow to connect salesforce and AWS lambda.

If you know better approach, please suggest.

Hi - Thanks for checking. Have checked this blog [Building custom connectors using the Amazon AppFlow Custom Connector SDK](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/compute/building-custom-connectors-using-the-amazon-appflow-custom-connector-sdk/) ? It has the following high level steps

1. Create a custom connector as an AWS Lambda function using the Amazon AppFlow Custom Connector SDK.
2. Deploy the custom connector Lambda function, which provides the serverless compute for the connector.
3. Lambda function integrates with a SaaS application or private API.
4. Register the custom connector with Amazon AppFlow.
5. Users can now use this custom connector in the Amazon AppFlow service.
