Can not use GitConfiguration mentioned in the official documentation for CodePipeline V2 CloudFormation template

I am trying to replicate this official document as I want to the Git configuration to be set for specific branch.

Cloudformation complains mentioning that this feature is fro CodePipeline V2 but I can not find any information to configure CodePipeline V2 from Cloudformation.

Please help.

Hello.

I think you should select "V2" in "PipelineType" of "AWS::CodePipeline::Pipeline".

The CloudFormation documentation to configure triggers and execution modes has been updated. You should now be able to use CloudFormation to create V2 pipelines with trigger filters.
