The only thing to check before migrating application running on EKS cluster 1.21 to 1.23 should be the release changes, deprecated api's (if any) in the release notes. Please refer the link https://docs.aws.amazon.com/eks/latest/userguide/kubernetes-versions.html#kubernetes-1.23.
