Some Samsung devices have enabled animations

Can you please specify which animations are you referring to?

Thank you for the message. I am referring to "System Animations" documented in https://docs.aws.amazon.com/devicefarm/latest/developerguide/test-types-android-instrumentation.html#test-types-android-instrumentation-settings that should be disabled by default for quite some time now on all devices. I am not sure if the official documentation on that link is outdated (it's about android.support.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner) or using latest and recommended AndroidX version JUnitRunner androidx.test.runner.AndroidJUnitRunner is causing this problem but I can clearly see in videos in my tests on some Samsung devices that progress indicator is spinning meaning these system animations are enabled. Please note that on majority of all devices this round progress indicator is static image as expected (meaning system animations are turned off) and it's broken only on some Samsung devices.

We have turned off animations for these Samsung devices for now. Please verify at your end, if it solves your issue.
