mimecast.com 554 Email rejected due to security policies

Earlier this week mimecast.com started rejecting our emails with "554 Email rejected due to security policies". Has anyone else run into this issue? What did you do to resolve it?
The issue magically resolved itself, I guess we fell off of whatever blocklist they were using though I did check all the public blocklists and we were fine.
