Because of the distributed nature of Amazon S3 and its [eventual consistency model](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/dev/Introduction.html#ConsistencyModel), it can take some time for changes to propagate across all AWS Regions. You might temporarily see your bucket in the console, or in a response to a [ListBuckets API request](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonS3/latest/API/API_ListBuckets.html), even after you delete the bucket. However, even if the bucket is still listed, you can't perform any other actions on the bucket.
