Hi, this page of documentation tells you how to prepare for a major version upgrade of PostgresSQL: https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/UserGuide/USER_UpgradeDBInstance.PostgreSQL.html#USER_UpgradeDBInstance.PostgreSQL.MajorVersion.Process
The nice thing about cloud is that you can (must !!) rehearse all this on a clone of your production database by restoring a snaphsot on another RDS instance.

@didier_aws , Thank you for the answer , i was also wondering if anybody encountered some challenge or issue with aws glue while doing the upgrade.
