Lambda Service appears to be down

Question

Hi, as of this morning our AWS Lambda functions are all unreachable and return an immediate 500 error upon calling. Additionally the Functions dashboard for myself and all of my coworkers shows "UnknownError" with no obvious answer as to what the issue is. Is Lambda down in US-East-1 right now? Or is there a way to discern what the issue with our functions is?

I checked the status here, but I don't think there are any particular problems.

There may be some kind of restriction on your account, so please open a case with AWS Support under "Account and billing" and check.
