Account alias in top right for AWS SSO when in the console ?

Is there anyway to add the account alias to the top right of the aws console when using aws sso without using a 3rd party tool or permission sets? They both seem to be a bit of a workaround rather than an actual solution. Especially since you will hit quotas very quickly using permission sets, and terraform doesn't seem to play well with it
