AL2023 PHP 8.1 EOL

Question

Current AWS documentation says PHP 8.1 on AL2023 will have security support until Nov 2024:

However, PHP has extended security support for 8.1 another year until Dec 2025:

Will AWS be updating PHP 8.1 EOL on both AL2023 and on Elastic Beanstalk (not yet announced) to reflect this change?

I would recommend opening a support case for this type of inquiry.  Members of the community cannot accurately speculate or predict what will be supported and until when.
