Applying new CA CERT during maintenance but shows no changes pending

My team and I have scheduled the new CA Cert to apply during the next maintenance period but when we look under the pending maintenance section for an instance, it is blank. Has anyone seen this before as an issue? Is there another way to see if the update is pending?

Our maintenance window came up and the CA Certs were applied without showing that maintenance was coming.

So for future information, if you mark to change the cert during your maintenance window it will not show pending maintenance.
