AWS Cognito sign in web UI: Is it possible to change the type of Input fields

Hi for the web UI sign in they are all input fields, For some inputs like gender they should probably be a drop down instead since there's only two options. Is there a way to edit the input fields to have more control?

Hi, sadly no you can't customize the default cognito sign in page like that. Currently you can only [customize the logo and the CSS as per the documentation](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/cognito/latest/developerguide/cognito-user-pools-app-ui-customization.html#cognito-user-pools-app-ui-customization-console). What you could do is to create your own sign in page. I found this [youtube video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DxYbDbm5VME) that may be helpful for you as it's a guided step by step to implement your own login flow.
