Workspaces Proxy Configuration for Ubuntu

Hi, I am evaluating workspaces for our vendors.

I have setup workspaces using AD connect. we have 1 public and 2 private subnets in a VPC. We have AD server and workspaces desktops in the private VPC and in the public VPC we have squid proxy. I have created 2 workspaces with one windows and one ubuntu machines.

Now when we configure proxy for both the windows and linux, windows is working fine without any issue. But ubuntu proxy configuration is not working. I tried to setup proxy using GUI and CLI, environment variables etc. But nothing works.

Anyone came across similar issue.
