Does AWS Aurora Mysql automatically upgrade version even "Auto minor version upgrade" is disabled

Aurora mysql version 2.02.5 is pretty old update (2018-10-08), and it has been deprecated and reached end-of-life. Check this [https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonRDS/latest/AuroraMySQLReleaseNotes/AuroraMySQL.Updates.20Updates.html] for the list of Aurora MySQL version 2 updates. AWS enforces the upgrades to ensure customers' databases are on supported versions that receive essential security patches and bug fixes. Upgrades are automated process, most likely they will complete successfully. But if the upgrade failed for any reason, it will automatically rolled back and to set it back to previous version. Later AWS team verify the failure and sends another notification for further steps.
