I submitted a quota increase for my API Gateway but it's still using the old value. How do I change it?

Question

Previously I had the default 10,000 QPS limit for my API Gateway. I submitted a request to increase the quota to 20,000 and it was approved. In my logs, I still see that I'm being throttled with the log

*Key throttle limit exceeded for RestApi xyz, Stage prod, Resource abc, HttpMethod POST. Limit: 10000.00 Burst: 5000*

How do I update the quota?

I think you may not have changed the `Default Method Throttling` of `Stage` in your api gateway:
