Cron Expressions to schedule State Manager Associations - DST

Question

Can't see any option within the cron expression builder on the SSM State Manager scheduler screens to allow for Day Light Saving times.
Is there anyway to get around this?

Since the [cron and rate expressions for Systems Manager](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/userguide/reference-cron-and-rate-expressions.html) are based in UTC, there is no built-in option to accommodate for day light saving. A workaround I can think of is to [create a cron job in EventBridge to invoke a Lambda function ](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/eventbridge/latest/userguide/eb-run-lambda-schedule.html)when day light saving happens. Within the Lambda function, you can make an [UpdateAssociation API call](https://docs.aws.amazon.com/systems-manager/latest/APIReference/API_UpdateAssociation.html) to change the cron expression.
