Hi,
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing problems with configuring your account on a IOS device. For the Exchange configuration to work you can used a .awsapps.com email address. this does mean that your user needs a email alias with that domain configured. After adding a email alias with .awsapps.com you can use that to create a Exchange account. The account will use the primary email address for sending mail.
