How best to add a Lex v2 bot to a swift project?

Hello,

I have an established Swift project, and would like to add a Lex v2 bot to it. Having looked at the amplify and ios-sdk-swift libraries, it appears that the easiest way to add a bot is to route it through a Java micro-service in our backend, which seems needlessly complex, and ignores using the swift SDK on the phone completely.

Is there a simple way to integrate a v2 bot into a swift app? Either example code, or otherwise, that someone could point me to? And if this is not a supported feature, could someone from Amazon explain how Amazon envisions Lex bots (v2) working, so that I can better tailor my architecture?
