Standard SQS - Duplicate message

Question

I have an Lambda which listens to Standard SQS , Do I need to handle duplicate messages while listening in Lambda as SQS guarantees at least once delivery. Are there chances of messages duplicating.

Yes, there is a chance of duplicate messages with SQS Standard queues. You will need to handle that in your code. Alternately, you can use a SQS FIFO queue.
