Deprovisioning SimpleDB

I am not a technical individual that inherited a AWS leftover environment that I am trying to deprovision. Most deprovisioning tasks are intuitive and I can handle through the GUI. However, I cant figure out how to deprovision SimpleDB. Does anyone have any straightforward steps a non-techie layman like myself can follow? TIA!

Hi,

in theory you should just delete a domain. The problem is that simpleDB cannot be accessed by AWS Console as it is a very outdated AWS offering.

The only practical ways to do that are:

Use api https://docs.aws.amazon.com/AmazonSimpleDB/latest/DeveloperGuide/WorkingWithDomainsDelete.html
Try this plugin out: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/sdbnavigator/ddhigekdfabonefhiildaiccafacphgg and verify if possible to delete it from there.
